Emraan HashmiCast : Emraan Hashmi, Neha Sharma
Director : Mohit Suri
Music Composer : Pritam
Producer : Mahesh Bhatt
The movie was shot in Australia and is based around the racial attacks on Indian students in Australia during 2009

Emraan Hashmi plays the character of Suraj, an illegal Indian immigrant who comes to Australia to become rich, opposite to him plays Neha Sharma as Suhani, who hosts radio shows in Australia to unite Indians and Australians.

The story proceeds ahead in a non-serious way and without taking in regard the burning issue of racism against Indians, it gears up in a rather funny and causal way. The movie is produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt.

Suraj’s life in the movie is not stuck to a particular path and he is not able to find a particular set of choices for him in his life and just moves ahead having fun with chics and stalking around.
He also faces his first piece of racism when he comes in touch with Suhani, an Indian student, with whom he tries to build a relationship of ease.

The issues starts crawling up when Suhani’s brother Arjan creates a scene that leads to bloodshed between Indians and Australians. Arjan is a self-acclaimed protector of Indians in Australia.

Suraj falls into the dilemma of either running back or staying in the situation and helping out Arjan.

Meanwhile, Suhani tries to unite Indians and Australians by means of her radio shows and series of enconters between her and Suraj bring them close.
Suhani looks outstanding and she is sure to catch the attention of the young dudes, she has looks, style and a bit of acting talent too!

The director presents an altogether different approach to the situation and Suraj takes both the sides and speaks in favor of Indians and as well as the Australians. Here you will feel a bit of too much drama and non-realism to the situation.

The crook boy here tries to rather give a message to all of you that first Indians should check their steps and activities and then they should blame the Australians (too much of ‘Austrialism’? Is it the reason, the movie is named ‘Crook’- It’s Good To Be Bad’?!

He deals with all the situations in a very subtle way and that’s what the soul of the movie is. It is quite interesting to see it, as a onetime watch, but there is no class to compare and distinct it with other movies.

Since it is an Emraan Hashmi movie, so you will get to catch some sexy songs and scenes with the foreign hotties who fall a prey to our serial kisser.

In a nutshell it is a thwarted love affair full of drama, romance, comedy, fun and a different way of dealing with situations which are as sensitive as fire, guess director Suri might have done a better job and could have brought up the racism issue in a better way.
